C42D Client Brightline Achieves the Trifecta of Recognition

By David Card

While mental health startup Brightline has raised over $212M over multiple funding rounds, this C42D client’s wins extend into industry accolades for both their offering and their culture. We love to watch them win.

Our client Brightline has achieved the ultimate trifecta of recognition for startups, racking up honors from Fast Company, Fortune, and Forbes.

Fast Company

Fast Company has long recognized Brightline as one of the Most Innovative Companies, an honor centered around companies “reshaping their businesses, industries, and the broader culture.” This annual listing spans dozens of industries and includes companies around the world. Companies that have made the list over the years include some others you may have heard of, like Spotify, SpaceX, and OpenAI.

It makes sense that a start-up dedicated to addressing the stigmas around behavioral and mental health care would foster an awesome work environment. Brightline has been sweeping awards with Fortune, starting with their 2022 honor as #10 on the Fortune Best Workplaces in Health Care. In 2023, Brightline climbed to the #3 spot in Health Care, while also ranking on the Best Workplaces for Millennials and Best Workplaces in the Bay Area.

Leveraging millions of data points and a defined methodology to review thousands of companies—from their business through their social media—Forbes partnered with Statista to rank the Best Startup Employers of 2024: Brightline made the list. This award considers everything from business health through work culture, taking a holistic view of startup employers before ranking the best.

With an incredible mission and a powerhouse team, it’s no wonder that
Brightline is seeing massive success. We’re proud to have helped them create their brand, and we’re excited to watch them continue to grow.
